Pleasing Pinks
This series focuses on showcasing how one shade of pink interacts with purple, red, orange, and yellow. I have always been intrigued by how colors interact with one another, especially how the same color changes depending on it's environment. This is a small incursion into the much larger world of color theory and interaction, which I hope to continue to explore and learn about.

Queer Joy
Using mixed media abstraction these three works explore the paths of queer joy. I dive into the joy of community, the joy of lovers, and the joy of true gender expression. Gender euphoria is a sprawling light in the darkness, alive and breathing. Community fills life with an explosion of color, a sense of belonging beyond boundaries. Queer love is a breakthrough sensation of deep understanding and everlasting connection. Struggle is too often the focus of marginalized communities leaving an abundance of joy and delight to sparkle without witness. These glittering reflections reveal the happiness that can be found beyond the struggles, even within them.
These works were part of the Art of Inclusion exhibition at the Greensboro Cultural Center in the summer of 2026
